the music has a very specific scape and backdrop associated with it, the music would accompany a vision of the ocean, and a boy who loses touch with the world when his mother and sister are killed by a burglar. there and then he takes the rowboat docked behind their home to the ocean, and begins to row away from the shore, eventually making it onto open water, where he simply lies down, unable to bring himself to grasp, to wait out his inevitable death.
